VANCE'S FRENCH ALPINES
Brian began raising goats in 1982. I met Brian in 1991 and it was a "test" little did I know as he plopped a newborn kid in my lap to see how I would react! Now I love the goats just as much as he does. Vance's French Alpines was the herd name my brother in law chose by accident when Brian first got his junior membership. He just made the name up on spur of the moment kind of thing. Not flashy, but to the point!! We keep numbers aroun 50-30 or so and raise just alpines! (all purebred with one american) We Linear appraise, show at many shows and DHIR test. We love each and every one of the goats. Even the @$%*& that bites!!

VESTIGE SPRING
We are David and Sheryl Chesney of Chesney Farm (in a small comunity called Glenn Springs). Back in the 1800s Glenn Springs was a booming recreational center because of the Glenn Springs mineral water. There was a hugh hotel that could rival any luxury hotel of today. Vestige (in Latin) means what once was or footprint. Hence Vestige Spring. My husbands family has been here for 3 generations. We also raise pigs, chickens, sheep, ducks, starting rabbits, horses, and Farmcollies along with reg. Alpines and grade Nubian crosses.

Vantasias Farm
Welcom to Vantasias Farm, located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. We started with goats in 2003, when my children decided that they wanted a goat as a 4-H project. So my neighbor and dear friend gave my three children each a buck kid. So I tried to figure out what to do with three bucks to show and that is when I bought some does. My pet herd grew into a lovely sized herd which now includes three handsome boys and eight lovely ladies. The girls have placed well at our local county and district fairs. At the ADGA shows the girls and boys also hold their own very well. Copper Hill, Peace Valley, Goldthwaite, Longman's, Nickel's, Price O The Field, Little-Bic's, and Regehrs are just a few of the bloodlines that my girls can be traced back to. We are constenly working to improve our herd, so in January 2004 we are hoping to start DHIR, CAE and G6S testing. The kids will be pulled from the dams and will be raised on a CAE preventive plan. If you have any questions, please contatct me. In addition to the goats, my husband also fixes and restores antique tractors. So please check out his tractor page and see if there is anything that you would like that is availiable.

Velvet Acres
Hello, I'm Debbie Gesick. Welcome to Velvet Acres, my home in beautiful Colorado. I choose the name of Velvet Acres for my herd because the cream cheese I make from their milk is as smooth and soft as velvet. I'd like you to meet my herd of Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats. My goal here is to create a show quality animal with beautiful, correct mammary systems that milk. I'm very greatful to have been given the priveledge to be able to aquire these beautiful does for my herd. My appreciation goes to Flat Rock Farms, Inavale, M & K Farm, Piddlin Acres, and Tupence for allowing these outstanding does to become the foundation of the Velvet Acres herd. Verdant Vistas Pygora Goats
Perched atop the hills southwest of Salem, OR, overlooking the lush Williamette Valley, Verdant Vistas was the logical choice of name for the setting where outstanding Pygora goats flourish on green fields and lots of loving care. The original Verdant Vistas herd was established in 1999 with offspring from the quality Pygora farms of Oregon where the breed began in 1978. Pat and George Copa manage food and accommodations with lots of help from their four-legged friends: 2 guard llamas, 2 Shetland Sheep associates, and an affectionate Golden Retriever. The Pygora flock of about 22 adults grows to a herd of more than 40 when spring kids arrive and fill the fields. Show-stopping goats and luscious fiber are available for sale throughout the year.

Vinehurst
Vinehurst became chosen name of the Kebles family goat herd in 1995. The name has special meaning to us. Our first Standarbred racehorse was named Vinehurst and he was the reason for our initial goat purchase. Vinehurst needed a buddy and she came in the form of a Nubian type grade, named Emma. Everyone adored Emma, and she and Viney were inseparable to the end. We couldn't think of a better way to honor the memory of these two beloved animals than to choose Vinehurst as our herd name.
