Jan Brewer is a long time goat breeder currently living in Florida, after moving from Oregon many years ago.  She is facing  immediate surgery for replacement of both hips and does not have insurance at this time.   Her surgeon has kindly offered to waive his fee, but estimates for the hospitalization and related expenses have been  $70,000+.  Earlier this year, she sold most of her goats to reduce expense and workload after the pain became so great.  She lives alone.

Jan has been a friend to many goat owners throughout the past 20+ years.  She is always there when needed and has helped many breeders with problems they've encountered.   She was the administrator for one of the earliest auctions hosted by ComeToTheFarm, for a friend who experienced a house fire.

 She has been the organizer of the Florida Goat Conference for many years and has given tirelessly of her time and effort to make the conferences a success each year.  She produced the Florida Dairy Goat Association newsletter for many years, and also produced informative handouts that have helped countless goat owners.   She has also served fellow ADGA members as an ADGA District III Director and committee chair.

Jan has given to many throughout her life, and now it's time for us to lend her a hand.  Please join us with the auction or consider making a cash donation.
