Kay James and her daughter Shannon Lawrence have been active Nigerian Dwarf breeders for many years (Yellow Rose Farm). Wednesday February 3^rd Shannon's home burned; They do have insurance but it never takes care all you loose. Not only the personal belongings, & memories but you also have the day to day expenses in the middle when you have no home, the time missed from work, meals you have no where to cook, etc. Shannon had just started as a student teacher and has to continue this to get her teaching credentials. Jason has been working two jobs and one at night and on weekends, it is not certain he can continue this as they rebuild their lives.

    The Modular home is a total loss as the entire back part is burned.  The most terrible thing is the loss of Shannon and Jason's beloved 3 dogs. To say they are devastated doesn't even come close to how they feel.  Arrangements for living quarters are still not decided. They can maybe salvage a few pieces of furniture, but everything else is   just gone.

    They had 2  goats on the back porch due to deliver any time that died and also 2 babies of the 1 goat that survived - she has many burns and we are hoping that she will make it.

   Please pray for Shannon and Jason at this time!    But  they also need you to do more than pray, they need your help! Please donate generously to the auction on this page and if you see something you would like or can use please bid generously on it.
