Fir Meadow Farm
Was praying for the right name. Our pasture was fringed with douglas fir trees thus the name. Now that we've moved we live in a log home constructed out of douglas fir logs so get away with our name that way too :o].

First-Watch Dairy Goats
Our last name is Einwechter which means "First-Watch in German so we chose this for our herd name. First-Watch Dairy Goats started in 1998 when three sisters, Sarah, Karen, and Abigail Einwechter bought their first goats.

Foggy Bottom Farm
We've had our goats a little over a year(started in Feb. 2003). Our small herd is located in West Georgia. We have percentage, purebred, and fullblood stock. We have traditionals, but are going to try to specialize in reds and paints. Our farm got it's name since one of our fields is in the bottoms and it always gets foggy down there. I just thought it fit and was a cute idea. Allen, April, & Tyler Hale

Forever Squeeze Nubians
Our herd started about 5 years ago with the purchase of 1 american alpine, and 2 saanan grades by my brother, when driving home from buying them, my brother selected Forever Squeeze, because he wanted them to milk so much he would never stop squeezing. I soon became interested int he goats as well and we now share the herd name, I got Nubians so that we wouldn't have to compete int he show ring too often, but could help each other show. We both have been very successful with our herds, me with my Nubians, and him with his alpines. The herd name has just kinda stuck, it was kinda funny and as a joke at first, but we have grown to like it and it is becomeing known, so I think it will be staying around for quite awhile.

Four Oaks Farm
The land that we fell in love with has 4 grand and aged oaks at the front of the property. The first time we went to look at it, my husband spontaneously says, "Four Oaks Farm". To me that was the perfect name..it was so "us" and it reflected and symbolized our desire for our 4 sons to grow up there and be the oaks of righteousness that I'd read about in the Bible. Four Oaks Farm symbolizes our hope for the future of our family and the farm.
